Twenty-one County Industrial Development Centres were refurbished and equipped, giving jua kali artisans and small manufacturers access to machinery they could never buy alone.

County Industrial Development Centres

A jua kali artisan with a good product cannot afford a lathe, a CNC cutter or a certified testing bench. That single constraint keeps thousands of small manufacturers permanently small.

  • 21 County Industrial Development Centres refurbished and equipped with shared machinery.
  • Sh4.4 billion allocated to MSME financing linked to the housing and manufacturing value chains.
  • Common user facilities for leather, textiles, food processing and metal fabrication established at county level.

Shared industrial infrastructure is how small producers reach the quality standard that lets them supply supermarkets, government tenders and export markets.
