The most valuable export Kenya has is the skill of its young people — and it does not need a port.

  • Digital jobs through Ajira and Jitume grew 409%, reaching 122,711 young Kenyans.
  • Digital literacy training surged 598%, with 516,505 youth trained.
  • Work ranges from data annotation for global AI companies to transcription, virtual assistance, graphic design, software development and customer support.

These young people earn in dollars, spend in shillings, and add to the country's foreign exchange without leaving their county.
